Summer is upon us as many enjoy a break from school and work. This time of year, plans are made across our nation to celebrate Independence Day (July 4th). Let’s not forget to praise God for our country He has given us to live in.
Let’s also continue to praise God for His mighty Spirit that is flowing throughout our church. This is evident in the unity and the humility as so many are serving in the mighty name of Jesus. It truly brings me joy to see God moving and shaping the lives around us as Jesus commanded us to “let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven” (Matthew 5:16)
I want to continue to encourage you all if you are not serving in some capacity to prayerfully consider where God would have you serve as Jesus reminds us “just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many. "(Matthew 20:28) May God continue to bless us as we yield to His vision for the second half of the year and help build HIS kingdom.
